Holland will be celebrating the national retail distribution release
of her new CD "Almost Like Being In Love" with a performance at KING
KONG ROOM at the Supper Club (240 West 47th Street, NYC - 1-212-921-1904

on Friday, November 14th at 9:00 pm. Produced and arranged by award
winning composer Gary William Friedman, this new CD features Stevie's
swinging, soulful and emotionally charged vocals. There is a $20 cover,
$15 food/drink minimum.
The CD is
getting great radio play on stations from coast to coast and is the
running for a Grammy nomination for Best Traditional Pop Vocal Album.
Backed by pianist Jesse Green (son of jazz great Urbie Green) and
various instrumental combinations, "Almost Like Being in Love" is
firmly establishing Stevie Holland as one of the finest pop and jazz
vocalists today.
Stevie Holland
has won critical praise for her performances in a variety of rooms
and concert halls around the country. Her previous recordings include
"Do You Ever Dream?" - an inspirational pop CD for which she wrote
the lyrics - and the CD single "This Is America" written and recorded
as a fundraiser in response to the acts of terror on September 11,
2001.
