James Returns With New Show of Love Songs

James returns to DON'T TELL MAMA (343 West 46th Street, NYC - 1-212-757-0788

with five performances of an all-new show, beginning Friday night,
February 21st at 7:00 pm. Additional shows are on Friday, February
28th at 7:00 pm, Wednesdays, February 26th & March 5th at 6:30 pm,
and Saturday, March 15th at 7:30 pm. The show is called "can't live
with him, can't live without him ... more love songs."
Arranger, musical director
and pianist Dick Gallagher, a multiple MAC winner, again accompanies
Ms. James; the show's artistic director is Helen Baldassare, herself
a recipient of many MAC awards and founder of the Cabaret Performance
Workshop. There is a $15 cover, 2-drink minimum. $5 off the cover
for MAC Members.
Ms. James made her cabaret
debut in 2002 with her solo cabaret show, "Songs of Love, Longing
& Levity." In this new show, she reprises the theme of love songs
of all types, presenting a varied repertoire which spans French cabaret,
the American Songbook, Broadway and novelty numbers, including some
unusual and rarely-performed surprises.
Robin James lives in Manhattan.
In "real life" she is the mother of two teenagers, and is a senior
account manager at a career management consulting firm. Selections
