Ross James is The Other Boy From Oz

Following two sell out seasons earlier this year in Australia, Ross James will unleash his presence on New York City at MAMA ROSE'S (219 Second Avenue, NYC - 212-533-0558 - http://www.mamaroses.net/) on Sunday, December 21st at 9:30 pm. Ross will lead you through the loves, laughs, triumphs and disappointments of life in The Other Boy From Oz. With flaming red hair and a burning passion to perform, there was no choice for Mr. James but to stand out from the crowd. Musical director is Tracy Stark. There is a $15 cover, 2-drink minimum. $10 cover for CABARET HOTLINE ONLINE members.

Ross was born and bred in Sydney, Australia and since first appearing on television 21 years ago, has been seen in many films, TV series and over 30 commercials. He has worked on radio, as a voice-over artist and on stage in numerous productions from Shakespeare to Sondheim.

Tracy Stark, a well known musical director and respected cabaret performer in New York, has enjoyed the long distance rehearsal process but canêt wait to meet the boy in the flesh and launch him on the Manhattan cabaret scene.

On his return to Australia, Mr. James will be working on his new show "Ross James: NAKED" for the Sydney Gay & Lesbian Mardi Gras festival in March 2004.
