Mac "Is a Friend of Judy's"
After a year and half
of playing the Legendary Judy Garland in Charles Tolliver's play "Judy
and Me," Peter Mac is taking to the stage for two nights to perform
in Peter Mac "Is a Friend of Judy's" at JUDY'S CHELSEA (169 Eighth
Avenue, NYC - 1-212-929-5410 - http://www.judyschelsea.com/)
on Fridays, April 4th & 11th at 11:00 pm. In this show, Mac plays
"the other side of the rainbow," celebrating Garlands musical style
and great wit. There is a $10 cover, $12 food/drink minimum.
In the style of Ms. Garland's
concerts and television specials and under the musical direction of
Jon Delfin, "Judy" will perform songs by Harold Arlen, Frank Loesser,
and Rogers & Hart among others.
Peter Mac made is Off-Broadway
debut in Ronnie Larson's comedy "Making Porn." Mr. Mac has been playing
the legendary diva in Tolliver's "Judy and Me" at UPSTAIRS AT ROSE'S
TURN, in which Garland helps a gay teem through the traumas of coming
out.
