Tom Michael and Beckie Menzie in Houston

Chicago cabaret artists Tom Michael and Beckie Menzie will appear at OVATIONS (2536 Times Boulevard, Suite B, Houston, TX - 713-522-9801 - http://www.ovationsnightclub.com/) on Friday December 19th at 8:00 pm. Cover charge is $10.

Recognized as "one of the more compelling duos working in cabaret today," Beckie Menzie and Tom Michael have appeared in such nightspots as New York's Town Hall, Don't Tell Mama, and Eighty Eights; Chicago's Empire Room, Park West, and Davenport's; The Breakers and Colony Hotel in Palm Beach; and Houston's Ovations.

Both artists have solo recording careers which include praise in Billboard, Back Stage and Playbill Magazines for Michael's CD's "Sailing On" (LML) and "Written in the Stars" (LML) and Menzie's "Heart & Soul." (BeMe). The albums continue to receive national airplay.

Their most recent show entitled "Hey Look Me Over, The Music of Cy Coleman," received raves and continues to tour nationwide.
