Shaynee Rainbolt's Hot Sunday Nights At The Plush Room

Cabaret-jazz singer Shaynee Rainbolt debuts her new show Hot Sunday Nights at THE PLUSH ROOM at the York Hotel (940 Sutter Street, San Francisco, CA - 415-885-2800 - http://www.plushroom.com/) as part of the legendary club's Month of Sundays series on Sundays, July 6th, 13th & 20th at 7:30 pm. She will be accompanied by the Ken Muir trio. Cover charge is $20 with a 2-drink minimum.

Returning to the fabled PLUSH ROOM for the first time since her highly successful New York and London debuts earlier this year, Bay Area cabaret-jazz singer Shaynee Rainbolt salutes the summer season with Hot Sunday Nights, featuring standards old and new by such composers as Sammy Cahn, Dave Frishberg, Sting, Michel Legrand, Stephen Sondheim, Fats Waller and Rogers & Hart.

2003 has been a banner year for Shaynee Rainbolt that began with the release of "From This Moment On," her critically acclaimed debut CD on the UK record label 33 Jazz. Following a sold out performance at the Plush Room to launch her debut disc, Ms. Rainbolt made successful debut performances at Danny's Skylight Room in New York City and at the prestigious Pizza In The Park jazz venue in London. Shaynee Rainbolt's New York show was chosen as a Critic's Pick by Time Out magazine and her CD was featured on the legendary Joe Franklin's nationally syndicated radio show and on BBC Radio in the UK.

Recorded at San Francisco's famed Hyde Street Studios, "From This Moment" On was produced by Wanda Stafford and Paul Stubblebine and features some of San Francisco's finest jazz musicians: Mike Greensill on piano, Noel Jewkes on reeds/horn/flute, John Wiitala on bass and Colin Bailey on drums

Shaynee Rainbolt's many exciting off-stage projects include Rainbolt-Hampton Arts, a California nonprofit corporation that supports arts education causes and arts related community services and programs. She also runs eCabaret-SF.com, a free web/email based resource for performers and clubs in the San Francisco Bay Area.
