Shaynee Rainbolt celebrates Holiday Madness at THE PLUSH ROOM

Bay Area vocalist Shaynee Rainbolt celebrates Holiday Madness at THE PLUSH ROOM at the York Hotel (940 Sutter Street, San Francisco, CA - 415-885-2800 - http://www.plushroom.com/) on Monday, December 8th featuring a diverse mix of Christmas and Hanukkah classics sprinkled with whimsical and quirky holiday favorites. Ms. Rainbolt will also sing a musical tribute to John Lennon to commemorate the 23rd anniversary of his death (December 8, 1980.) She will be backed by Ken Muir on piano and Al Obidinski on bass. There is a $15 cover charge, ($20 at the door) - $10 for CABARET HOTLINE ONLINE Members.

Ms. Rainbolt's stocking full of seasonal gems includes "Chestnuts Roasting On An Open Fire" and "Santa Baby." Additional program highlights include the hit tune "Peal Me A Grape" and "Ocho Kandelikas" (a rare Sephardic Hanukkah song sung in Ladino). "Holiday Madness" takes a look at the humorous side of the festive season with tongue in cheek selections "Grandpa's Gonna Sue The Pants Off Santa" and "My Brother Wants A Doll For Christmas."

Shaynee Rainbolt's "Holiday Madness" puts an exclamation point to what has been an eventful year in her blossoming career. High points of the last twelve months have included the release of "From This Moment On," her debut CD on the renowned British label 33 Jazz. Following a sold-out show at the Plush Room to launch the recording, Ms. Rainbolt made successful singing debuts in New York and London. "From This Moment On" has earned airplay on BBC Radio in the UK and on KCSM Radio in the Bay Area.

A long time Marin resident, Shaynee Rainbolt has delighted audiences at such Bay Area venues as Kelly's of Alameda, The Cosmopolitan Caf¼ and as part of the Plush Room's "A Month Of Sundays" series this past summer.
