Steve
Ross Extended at STANHOPE through February 8th
Five Weeks of Additional
Performances Include Two Special Guest Pianists at The Stanhope Park
Hyatt New York
The
elegant Upper East Side hotel, STANHOPE PARK HYATT NEW YORK (Fifth
Avenue at 86th Street, NYC - 1-212-650-4737), in association with Ligeti
Artists LLC, will entertain intimate crowds with an additional five
weeks of Steve Ross engagements. Due to the success of the cabaret
show's initial run, arrangements have been made for an extension through
the first week of February. Beginning January 2, 2003, Ross will continue
his popular transatlantic song interpretations Tuesday through Saturday
at 8:30 pm with a $35 cover charge (7:00 pm dinner reservations required).
Fridays and Saturdays will include a 10:30 pm performance as well,
with a $35 cover charge ($25 food and beverage minimum accompanies
late shows).
In the course of this
extension, a pair of world-renowned pianists will join Ross for two-piano
performances. Collaborating for the first time with Peter Howard of
Broadway fame, and Peter Mintun, known to New York society from his
biannual engagements at Bemelman's Bar at The Carlyle, Ross will spend
a week recreating popular song classics with each. From Tuesday, January
14th through Saturday, January 18th, Ross and Howard will offer selections
from CHICAGO, MINNELLI ON MINNELLI, SOUND OF MUSIC, ANNIE, HELLO,
DOLLY! and CRAZY FOR YOU. The Ross/Mintun show, January 28th through
February 1st, will offer two-piano arrangements adapted from the song
books of the Gershwins, Cole Porter, Irving Berlin, Jerome Kern and
others.
