FRONT RUNNERS BRINGS BACK THE VAUDEVILLE'sHOW

Mabel Dawn Davis hosts May 3rd extravaganza at The Center

Front Runners NY, the NYC lesbian and gay running club, announces the 2nd annual FRONT RUNNERS VAUDEVILLE SHOW on Saturday, May 3rd at 8:00 pm at THE LESBIAN AND GAY COMMUNITY SERVICE CENTER (208 West 13th Street, NYC - 212-316-0320). Proceeds from this fabulous evening of entertainment will'support the 22nd ANNUAL PRIDE RUN, an event held in Central Park during LGBT Pride week since 1981. Tickets for the VAUDEVILLE SHOW are $25.

The show is an extravaganza spotlighting many of New York's brightest LGBT professional performers from cabaret, opera, comedy and rock - and this year will be bigger than before. Plus, anyone who missed the first "Full Monty Finale" will definitely want to'see what the runners have up their... sleeves this year.

Once again hosted by the infamous Mabel Dawn Davis, the evening promises "more glamour than you can'shake a lipstick at." ūThe inimitable Miss Davis recently returned from her award-winning tour of Australia where she received the Melbourne Fringe Cabaret Prize and an Australian Green Room Award nomination for Best Cabaret Artiste. Her debut jazz CD, "Peel Me a Grape," was also recorded in Australia and will be released in May.

Featured performers include the award-winning duo of Karen Mack & Michael Holland, popular Duplex comic Poppi Kramer, downtown cabaret star Michael Vaccaro, international whistling (yes, whistling) sensation Jason serinus, folk/rock up-and-comer Allison Tartalia, Shea Stadium National Anthem singer Janet Villas and musical director & singer/songwriter Tracy' Stark.
