DALLAS
SINGER BACK TO NYC WITH "THE OTHER SIDE OF FUNNY"
That
Dallas Duo is coming back in NYC once again to do their new show,
"The Other Side of Funny" AT DON'T TELL MAMA (343 West 46th Street,
NYC - 1-212-757-0788 - http://www.donttellmama.com/),
one night only on Sunday, April 13th at 9:00 pm. Amy Stevenson and
pianist Mark Mullino performed at Mama's several times last year and
are eager to be back "home" with this new show. There is a $10 cover,
2-drink minimum.
"The Other Side of Funny"
is a different look at life and dreams, with a just touch of funny.
Amy finds there are three dreams that all of us have and will share
songs about love, career and home in this show. The show includes
some brand new songs, some of which were written just for this show.
Amy will be singing songs written by David Friedman, "Survivor" Mitchell
Olsen and the new writing team of Candace Evans and Mark Mullino.
Having fulfilled some
of her own dreams, Ms. Stevenson knows the excitement of seeing a
dream come true. In fact, one dream was that of having cabaret become
a part of Dallas, so that others would enjoy the pleasure of it. Two
theaters have opened their doors to cabaret shows in 2003, one of
which is presenting shows every Wednesday! (http://www.tracdallas.com/).
