PAM TATE SINGS SOMETHING WONDERFUL

Singer Pam Tate brings her all-new show Something Wonderful to DANNY'S SKYLIGHT ROOM (342 West 46th Street, NYC - 212-265-8133 - http://www.dannysgrandseapalace.com/), on Tuesdays, February 4th & 11th at 9:15 pm, and Thursdays, March 6th & 13th at 7:00 pm. There is a $15 music charge and a $10 food/drink minimum.

"Something Wonderful" features a sophisticated mix ranging from classic to contemporary pop, from the Gershwins, Rodgers & Hammerstein, Irving Berlin, Jacques Brel, Cy Coleman and Dorothy Fields to Stephen Schwartz, Carol Hall, Milton Nascimento, Kander & Ebb, Lina Koutrakos and Sting.

Pam recently thrilled audiences at the MAC/ASCAP Songwriters Showcase with "Bar Mitzvah Shiksa Mamma" (Music: Tate & Lyrics: Raible/Tate) and her previous show "Love Lost and Found - Pam Tate Sings Pam Tate," also performed at Danny's. Prior to this Pam made her return to the cabaret stage as part of the ensemble of Erv Raible's critically acclaimed "September 11, 2001 ... The Musical Response."

Ms. Tate has performed from small clubs to stadiums of 50,000, and has opened for such artists as The Doobie Brothers, Hall & Oates and Thin Lizzy. As a BMI songwriter, Pam has produced two CDs of original music, the bluesy "Die Happy" and the pop rockish "Dancing On The Pyramids," both to intonational rave reviews. She is currently collaborating on new songs with Jude Treder-Wolff, Nan Selle and Erv Raible. As an award winning writer Pam has written full-length and one-act plays, including "Pure Art: A Play About Leni Riefensthal," which won the National Women's Play writing contest; three feature length screenplays; and dramatic monologues including "Rogue Women: Pirates, Soldiers and Spies," for The National Museum of Women's History.
