Since launching her first
one-woman cabaret show at Kabarett Junction in August 2002, Ms. Wollaston
has been living her life at full speed - the speed of a Hurricane.
Now, she returns to the venue where it all began to premiere her brand
new show, "Hymns From The Hurricane," which will tour Sydney and then
the nation throughout 2003.
Already this year, Belinda
has performed to critical acclaim in THREE WINTERS GREEN, and supported
Equity Fight Against Aids with performances at Sydney's Mardi Gras
Fair Day. Last year, she performed at the Sydney Cabaret Convention,
supported international cabaret performer Enda Markey, performed in
a master class held by New York songwriter John Bucchino and accepted
roles in numerous musical productions. And of course, her solo show
took off beyond expectations.
"Hymns From The Hurricane"
is a show from the heart - the songs that Belinda wants to sing, the
stories she wants to tell. Featuring songs from hit shows such as
THE LAST FIVE YEARS and A CLASS ACT, and even a few classics from
artists like Bette Midler, "Hymns From The Hurricane" caters for everybody.
