The TEN20 Club Proudly Presents "VAMPS, SIRENS, LEGENDS AND SONG!"

THE TEN20 at the Wyndham Bel Age Hotel (1020 North San Vincente Boulevard, West Hollywood, CA - 310-854-1111 - http://www.wyndham-belage.com/) will present "Vamps, Sirens, Legends and Song!," for one naughty night only on Thursday, March 11th starting at 7:30 pm. Hosted by Les Michaels, with accompanist Ron Synder at the piano, the evening of campy songs will feature divas C. Stephen Foster (co-creator of "Divanalysis"), Lotte Trouble (direct from Bogaslovia), Miss Peggy Judy (former Hollywood starlet) and Quinn Lemley (direct from New York City). An Open Mic will follow at 9:00 pm. There is No Cover Charge and No Minimum.

Les Michaels is the host of Thursday Night Cabaret Series at the TEN20 Club. In addition, he also hosts a weekly Open Mic Night in the Lounge at the Vermont Restaurant in Hollywood. Michaels has also produced the Palm Springs Cabaret Caravan, a traveling show featuring 23 performers appearing a various venues throughout Palm Springs. He began his career as a singer and a dancer with the San Francisco Light Opera, and currently works at a major advertising agency by day, saving the evenings for cabaret work. Notable guest artists Michaels has enticed to appear at the TEN20 Club include: Amanda Abel, Karen Benjamin and Alan Chapman, Marta DuBoise, Jan Daley, Deborah Downey, Shelly Goldstein, Ray Jessel, Steve Kirwan, Gregg Marx, Peisha McPhee, Lloyd Peterson, Julie Shepperd, Stacy Sullivan and Joanne Tatham, among others.

Ron Snyder is well known to cabaret and musical theatre lovers. He has worked with some of the top names in both arenas, which has solidified his musical reputation. His musical direction of the The Celebration Theatreís production of "Pinafore" earned him the Musical Director of the Year Award from the LA Weekly Awards in 2002.

C. Stephen Foster is the author of the plays "Divanalysis" (with Scott Wilkerson in which he played Judy Garland, Liza Minnelli, Karen Carpenter and The Divine Miss M.); "Attitudes and the Dance" and "Legends and Bridge" (in which he played Bette Davis). He has written three screenplays: "Glamour, Please!" and "Bumper Sticker" (with Chuck Pelletier and Joe Howard) and "Upon Deaf Ears." His first musical, "The Green Room," (music and lyrics by Chuck Pelletier and book with Rod Damer), is in preproduction, along with a new version of "Divanalysis."

Lotte Trouble, (aka Veronica Bach) dubbed the "Diva of Dive" by LA Weekly, counts among her blessings, big hair, big feathers and big cleavage! A diva from the hinterlands of Bogaslovia, her act features hilarious songs, clever repartee and Dietrich-style humor. The notorious Lotte Trouble brings you to your knees (and insists you stay there) with looks to kill and style to die for. Entertainment Today had this to say: Lotte Trouble makes James Bondís exploits look like Friar Tuck. Thatís Tuck ‚ with a ëT!í"

Miss Peggy Judy is the original creation of actress/singer Molly Brandenburg. Miss Peggy first appeared as a monologue in the original sketch comedy revue, "Midnight Madness," in Los Angeles. She has appeared at The Improv, The Comedy Store, Masquerís Cabaret, The Gardenia Room, The Hudson Theater and Checca (opening for Warhol superstar Hollywoodlawn), among others. The Los Angeles Times raves, "Kitsch at its funniest! The indomitable Miss Peggy Judy just wonít stay down!"

Quinn Lemley is a native New Yorker who has sung in jazz and swing clubs throughout the U.S. and Europe. She recently returned from Athens, Greece, where she played for two sold weeks at The Half Note. She has been heard in New York at The Algonquin, The Firebird, Shellyís New York, Lolaís, Tavern On The Green and the Rainbow Room. Her cabaret shows are known to include jazz standards and sassy siren songs paying homage to sexy glamour gals like Marlene Dietrich, Rita Hayworth, Eartha Kitt and Doris Day.
