Stars Join Scott Alan at The Duplex

Up and coming
composer-lyricist Scott Alan will be featured at THE DUPLEX CABARET
THEATRE (61 Christopher Street, NYC - 1-212-255-5438 - http://www.theduplex.com/
) on Easter Sunday, April 11th, during two shows at 7:00 and 9:00
pm. Alan, who penned the Los Angeles musical hit Detour, will be joined
by Grease's Billy Porter, Wicked Musical Director Stephen Oremus,
Hairspray's Shoshana Bean and Thoroughly Modern Millie's Gavin Creel.
There is a $12 cover and a 2-drink minimum.
Sarah, Plain
and Tall's Kate Wetherhead and Courtney Balan, stars of Alans upcoming
musical "Piece," about a 44 year old women who recalls her life through
the eyes of her 17-, 26- and 35-year-old selves, will both be on hand
to present a new song from "Piece."
Alan, cousin
of My Life With Albertine's Ricky Ian Gordon, will accompany the singers
and perform some of his own work. Once on this Island's Gerry McIntyre
will direct.
