Dubbed by his fans as "America's comedy crusader," Albers rants about American politics and pop culture in a style described by the New York Post as "audaciously original." His subjects in the show range from the selection of Supreme Court Justices to an astrological imbalance in Congress. He also rants about James Bond, Corvettes, The Golden Girls, big weddings and the Lincoln Tunnel. He sings comedy parody songs about American icons Dr. Phil, Britney Spears and Cher -not to mention such American institutions as Wal-Mart and "The View" and the State of Oklahoma.

At the 2003 MAC Awards at Symphony Space, Albers won the Best Male Stand-up Comedian Award for the second straight year. The MAC Awards, sponsored by the Manhattan Association of Cabaret and Clubs, are presented annually to honor achievements in live entertainment.

Albers performs in all of the major New York comedy clubs including Carolines, Standup New York, Gotham, Comic Strip, Comedy Cellar, Boston Comedy, Don't Tell Mama, Rose's Turn and The Duplex. His recent radio and television performances include National Public Radio's "The Next Big Thing," New York 1 News and MTV. The show's musical director and co-author is Dick Gallagher, who composed the music for the hit Off-Broadway show, "When Pigs Fly," which played in New York for two years. As a musical director, Gallagher has worked with singers including Patti Lupone and has received eight MAC Awards for musical direction. He received the 2003 MAC Award for Best Musical Director.
