"American Rock" has been created by some of the finest talents working in the fields of comedy, music and theatre, including award-winning director and writer Stephen Rosenfield, and award-winning composer and musical director Dick Gallagher.

Stephen Rosenfield has directed at The Roundabout Theatre, The Ensemble Studio Theatre, The Actor's Studio and is the Director of the American Comedy Institute. Dick Gallagher composed the music for the hit Off-Broadway show, WHEN PIGS FLY, which played in New York for two years. As a musical director, Gallagher has worked with singers including Patti Lupone and has received eight MAC Awards for musical direction. Both artists worked with Rock on "The Rock Albers Show" and "Rock 2," which have been playing to full houses in New York City for more than four years. Albers' previous work has garnered rave reviews.

In the new show Albers rants about U.S. Presidents, Girl Scout cookies, the Supreme Court and the astrological imbalance in Congress. Rock will debut parody songs about President Bush, Senator John Kerry, former President Clinton and Senator Hillary Rodman Clinton as well as gay marriage and the Halliburton Corporation.

Also contributing material for the new show are theater veterans Scott Logsdon and Philip A. Campanella. Logsdon has written three volumes of the acclaimed, cult internet serial, THE GLAMOROUS LIFE, as well as material for Jason Alexander and Broadway's GYPSY OF THE YEAR. Campanella, who for years served as Musical Director and Composer-in-Residence for New York's Roundabout Theatre, is the Executive Director of the Singers Forum.
