AARON LEE BATTLE CANCELS REMAINING SHOWS AT DILLON'S

Citing "management problems" at the club, Aaron Lee Battle, Bistro Award-winner and stage performer, has cancelled remaining performances of his show, which celebrates life and Broadway at DILLON'S (245 West 54th Street, NYC - 212-307-9797 - http://www.dillonslounge.com/ ). He plans to re-book the show at a new location shortly.

In the show, Battle related a fascinating trip through his experiences during the 20 years he's lived in New York City. Aaron was joined on stage by the incomparable Bobby Peaco at the piano. The show is directed by Broadway and cabaret star Eric Michael Gillett.

After his critically acclaimed show, "Step Right Up," Battle returned to the cabaret stage celebrating life, his recent journey through it and, of course, Broadway. Along with him for the ride are the great songs of Harburg, Arlen, Sondheim, Webber, Kander & Ebb, Herman and others. Battle will take you on a fascinating trip through his experiences during the 20 years he's lived in New York City, with a special look at all the craziness he's encountered since his kidneys failed.

Battle, well known for his jazz styling of Billy Eckstine and Duke Ellington, has also performed throughout the U.S, Aruba, Germany and Northern Europe in Ain't Misbehavin, performed the roles of Jake in Side Show and Hud in Hair. He stole the show in the comedy The Coming Out Party Off-Broadway and performed as the headliner at a supper club in Istanbul, Turkey for 2 years.
