has been extended through February 2004. Scheduled dates include Thursday,

Lady's a Star" chronicles Dorothy's serio-comic endeavors to become

to operatic arias. Phil Hall is musical director, and the show is
directed by Michael Wallot. There is a $12 cover, $10 food/drink minimum

After a scholarship
to Yale School of Music, Ms. Bishop made her Off Broadway debut as
Polly Peachum in a 1995 revival of Kurt Weill's Three Penny Opera.
She toured for 14 months as "Sharon" in Terrance McNally's Tony Award
winning play Master Class opposite the legendary Faye Dunaway.
Ms. Bishop
made her Carnegie Hall solo debut with Skitch Henderson and the New
York Pops in 2001, sharing the stage with Reba McEntire, Linda Lavin,
Craig Bierko, Marni Nixon and Liz Smith at a gala concert honoring
New York's Mayor Rudy Giuliani. Dorothy has also sung the operatic
roles of Musetta in La boheme (Lyric Opera of Waco) and Rosalinda
in Die Fledermaus (Sanibelle Music Festival).
As an advocate
of modern American music, Dorothy has premiered songs by Daron Hagen
and Christopher Berg, and has collaborated with composers Ricky Ian
Gordon (Only Heaven) and John Corigliano (The Red Violin) on their
own works. "Dorothy is a fine interpreter of song. We are lucky to
have her in our midst." says Grammy award winning composer David Del
Tredici.
