SWINGIRLS AND JOHN DE MARCO TO APPEAR IN CHARITY REVUE

On Saturday, May 8th at 7:00 pm H.M.I.S.M. Empress XVIII Trai La Trash and The Imperial Court of New York present Boogie Woogie Bugle Bash - A USO-Style Revue to benefit God's Love We Deliver's Emergency Food Packs Fund. It will be held at THE CANTEEN (560 Seventh Avenue, NYC). The show will be hosted by the indomitable Sybil Bruncheon and Matthias Bloussant, and features the incomparable Lypsinka. H.M.I.S.M. Empress XVIII Trai La Trash and members of the Imperial Court of New York will appear in a 21-Drag Salute. Other guests include The Swingirls, a trio specializing in the music of the period and John De Marco, a favorite on the New York cabaret scene. Gold tickets are $125, silver tickets are $75. The beneficiary for the evening will be God's Love We Deliver's Emergency Food Packs Fund. God's Love We Deliver is a highly respected agency providing meals to people with HIV/AIDS or other life threatening illnesses. They have created the Emergency Food Packs initiative, to ensure that each of their clients will have a two-day supply of nonperishable food for those rare occasions when an emergency situation prevents the delivery of their normal fresh nutritious meals,

The show is produced by The Imperial Court of New York, a social and fund-raising organization which has raised and donated back into the gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender community more than $650,000 to both social service and health support organizations.

Guest star Lypsinka's career was launched in I Could Go On Lip-synching! which ran for a year Off Broadway and later played in Los Angeles, in a production partially financed by drag-friendly Madonna. After numerous shows in venues all over the world on stage and on screen, Lypsinka was most recently seen in Lypsinka! As I Lay Lip-synching for an extended run here in Manhattan.
