TV PERSONALATIES JOIN KEITH BORDEN FOR 2 SAN DIEGO CHARITIES

On Saturday, February 28th, 2004, vocalist Keith Borden will be featured in a musical journey of love and inspiration, "A CABARET OF HOPE" at 7:30 pm in the auditorium at THE CENTER (3909 Center Street, San Diego, CA - 1-800-950-9474 x116 - http://www.thecentersd.org/). The evening is completely underwritten and 100% of the admission price will be donated to Starlight Children's Foundation and The Center. All money raised will benefit local San Diego children and clients of The Center. VIP tickets including pre-party and after show specials are $40 in advance and $45 at the door. General admission is $25 in advance and $30 at the door. Tickets are available at THE CENTER or by calling 1-800-950-9474 x116. Special group rates available for (20) or more. $5 off admission for CABARET HOTLINE ONLINE members.

This incredible show, now in it's third successful year in Hollywood, under the musical direction of famed writer Bob Esty, will also feature San Diego TV News Anchor Dave Carlin (KSWB TV-5), and America's Favorite Fast Talker and Voice Of Hollywood Squares, John Moschitta, Jr. as co-hosts. The evening will run the musical gamut from classics like Moon River to show tunes to Stevie Wonder.

Mr. Borden has performed in various venues with such superstars as Melba Moore, Patti Labelle, The Winans, Peabo Bryson and Roberta Flack. Keith's television appearances have included E.R., Movie Stars, three episodes of The X Files, and B.B. King's Gospel Musical Explosion as the host. He has performed musically at B.B. King's House of Blues, the world famous House of Blues, before an audience of over 10,000 along with Melissa Gilbert, Benito Martinez (The Shield), Bob Saget, Brad Garrett (Everybody Loves Raymond) and Caroline Rea (The Caroline Rea Show & Sabrina the Teenage Witch) at the Bright Lights of L.A. celebration and has performed at the Knitting Factory in Hollywood, Ca, the legendary Cinegrill, & Don't Tell Mama in NY. He recently opened for Ceci Peniston.

Opened in 1973, THE CENTER (http://www.thecentersd.org/) is the second oldest and third largest LGBT Center in the nation. The Center will celebrate its thirtieth anniversary in 2003. The organization provides activities, services and programs to enhance and sustain the health and well being of the LGBT and HIV communities by Creating Community; Empowering Community Members; Providing Essential Resources; Advocating for Civil and Human Rights; and Embracing our Cultural Diversity.
