Weeklong Performance Workshop in Colorado

Andrew Levine is producing a workshop entitled "The Art of Cabaret: A Weeklong Performance Workshop" in Steamboat Springs, CO, featuring master teachers Andrea Marcovicci, Craig Carnelia, Barry Kleinbort, Shelly Markham and Chris Denny. Michael Kerker will be Guest Lecturer. Dates are August 23rd through August 30th.

"The Art of Cabaret" is an intensive workshop designed for Cabaret performers. The faculty has been carefully assembled to reflect the best that the art form has to offer in the areas of performance, composition, direction and musical direction. Eighteen to twenty participants will study in small group sessions that meet twice daily. Evenings will consist of special topic presentations by our faculty and guests, an open mic night, a visit to the hot springs, and the opportunity to see Andrea Marcovicci and Shelly Markham in concert. The weeklong intensive will culminate in a public concert given by those participating in the program.

Cost is $2,000, and includes the workshop, all meals, activities and lodgingAdmission to the program is by audition only.
