'Just Say Cabaret' in Chicago on Valentine's Day

Spend the weekend in Chicago this Valentine's Day and celebrate the art of the American song all weekend long.Ý"Just Say Cabaret" will take place February 12th through 15th as part of "Chicago Winter Delights," the city's annual winter-long celebration, offering the best in cultural entertainment, family attractions, shopping, hotel deals and hospitality packages.

Some of the weekend highlights include Broadway diva Karen Mason in concert at the SPEAKEASY SUPPER CLUB (1401 West Devon, Chicago, IL - 773-338-0600) on February 12th and 13th, and "That's Amore," a musical valentine from the 1950s featuring the music of Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Sammy Davis, Jr., Judy Garland at the CHICAGO CULTURAL CENTER (78 East Washington Street, Chicago, IL - 1-877-CHICAGO - http//www.877CHICAGO.com/) on February 13th.

On Valentine's Day, February 14th, guests can enjoy "Let's Duet," a romantic evening of wine, gourmet food and song at MAXIM'S (24 East Goethe Street, Chicago, IL - Tickets: 312-409-3106) or a night at "His Way - A Tribute to the Man and his Music," Ron Hawking's homage to Frank Sinatra and his love songs at the NBC TOWER (454 North Columbus Drive, Chicago, IL - 312-836-5555).ÝVisitors can continue the Valentine fun when New York jazz and cabaret legend Barbara Carroll comes to the CHICAGO CULTURAL CENTER (78 East Washington Street, Chicago, IL - 1-877-CHICAGO - http//www.877CHICAGO.com/) on Sunday afternoon, February 15.

Throughout this weekend and during every weekend of Chicago Winter Delights, dozens of restaurants will offer price fixed meals at restaurants throughout the city and "Light Nights on the Magnificent Mile," the weekly Saturday evening fireworks display, will return to Michigan Avenue.Ý

Chicago Winter Delights features holiday events from November 17 through December 31, 2003 and continues with nine themed weekends January 1 until February 29, 2004.ÝThe complete line-up of weekend celebrations includes Clown Around Town (January 1-4), Stir It Up (January 8-11), Paint the Town Blues (January 15-18), Play It Cool (January 22-25), Embrace Opera (January 29-February 1), Tour The Treasures (February 5-8), Just Say Cabaret (February 12-15), Act On It (February 19-22) and Let's Dance (February 26-29).
