BRANDON CUTRELL'S NO RESERVATIONS IN OHIO

Brandon Cutrell will peform his cabaret piece, NO RESERVATIONS, on Saturday, April 17th at 8:00 pm at THE DOROTHY M. AND ISABEL HERBST THEATRE (3640 Colonel Glenn Highway, Dayton, OH - 937-775-2500). The theater is located at the Department of Theatre Arts on the campus of Wright State University. The show consists of mostly contemporary music, some of it from the popular arena. Song choices range from Tracy Chapman's "Fast Car," to newer tunes by Michael John LaChiusa and Jason Robert Brown, with a Negro spiritual thrown in for healthy measure. It's an ecclectic mix of music, constructed by Cutrell with Director Phil Geoffrey Bond, and Musical Director Ray Fellman. Tickets are $15.

Brandon's solo cabaret debut, "entitled.," featured the music of Sean Michael Flowers and Patrick Vaughn. This show was honored by TheaterMania as the best debut show of 2002. Brandon's 2003 cabaret outing, "I'm Not Waiting," a revue of the music of Andrew Lippa, enjoyed a two month run in New York. NO RESERVATIONS, Brandon's critically-acclaimed show, is currently enjoying an open-ended run at THE DUPLEX CABARET THEATRE (61 Christopher Street, NYC - 1-212-255-5438 - http://www.theduplex.com/ ).

2003 MAC (Manhattan Association of Clubs and Cabarets) AWARD winner Brandon Cutrell made his entrance on the New York cabaret stage in 2001s "It's an Art: The Music of Stephen Schwartz," which was produced by the Storefront Theatre Company. Since then, he has performed in other Storefront productions, including "Rags," "Dead Divas," "New Mondays" (with Michael John LaChiusa and Charles Strouse), "The Storefront In Concert," and "Arise!" (with Stephen Schwartz, Anne Runolfsson and Alison Fraser).

Other New York credits include "Mad About The Boy" (Off Off Broadway), "Anne Of Green Gables" (York Theatre), Liz Swados' adaptation of "Waiting For Lefty," David Friedman's "King Island Christmas," and two performances at Carnegie Hall under the baton of John Rutter. He also took part in "An Evening with the Pops" at Carnegie Hall with Leslie Uggams and the Cincinnati Pops. Also with the Cincinnati Pops, Brandon has performed concerts with Doc Severinson, The King's Singers and Lee Roy Reams.
