"AN EVENING WITH DOTTIE BURMAN" RETURNS TO MAMA'S

Award-winning singer/songwriter/entertainer Dottie Burman returns to DON'T TELL MAMA (343 West 46th Street, NYC - 1-212-757-0788 - http://www.donttellmama.com/ ) with her delightful cabaret show, AN EVENING WITH DOTTIE BURMAN performing her original witty and moving songs from her new CD, WHEN THE PALM TREES GROW IN CENTRAL PARK and audience favorites from her first CD, IíM IN LOVE WITH MY COMPUTER. She sings about the challenges of change, from the climate to relationships. Dottie is accompanied by her long-time musical director, Paul Greenwood. The director is Patricia Norcia, reknowned for her portrayals of the monologues of Ruth Draper. The performances are on Mondays, September 27th and October 4th at 6:30 pm. There is a $10 cover charge and a 2-drink minimum. (2 for 1 cover for members of CABARET HOTLINE ONLINE.)

Ms. Burman's new CD, WHEN THE PALM TREES GROW IN CENTRAL PARK, contains 14 comedy songs, show tunes and ballads. The lyrics,music and vocals are by Dottie Burman (with additional music by Rick Cummins and Robin Field.) Musical direction/ arrangements/ keyboards/backup vocals are by Paul Greenwood and Percussion by Tom McGrath. Dottie performed the title song from the album recently at a MAC/ASCAP Songwriters Showcase.
