FLY WITH ME REVUE AT ORIGINAL JOE'S

On Saturday,
August 28th, Christopher Copeland presents "Come Fly With Me," an
original revue showcasing the talents of Carly Ozard, Sally Pfleiderer,
Shirley Smallwood, Henry Sellenthin, Becky Jones and Richard Nickol
backed by The Jeffrey Chin Trio at ORIGINAL JOE'S CABARET (144 Taylor
Street, San Francisco, CA - 415-775-5146). David Carrillo serves as
Master of Ceremonies. Showtime will be 8:30 pm, doors open at 8:00
pm. $25.00 at the door (includes 2 drinks).
Carly Ozard
is a wonderful young performer. She has appeared in Show Boat, On
The Town, Ragtime, and Sweeny Todd. She was featured soloist in productions
of Sound Of Music and West Side Story. She studies voice with Jeanette-Sacco-Billi
and with Richard Nickol.
Henry Sellenthin
has performed many roles locally from opera to musical theater. Most
recently he was seen in West Bay Opera's production of Il Barbieri
di Seviglia. Other roles in shows such as 10 Little Indians, The Fantasticks,
The Boy Friend, and Lettice and Lovage. He currently studies with
Richard Nickol.
Sally Pfleiderer
has perfromed in numerous Bay Area Theaters. Her theater credits include
H.M.S. Pinafore, On The Twentieth Centruy, Oliver!, Bye, Bye, Birdie,
Big River, she has also appeared in operas such as Le Nozze di Figaro
and Cavalleria Rusticana. She is also a student of The san Francisco
Academy for the Performing Arts.
Shirley Smallwood
is a Bay Area native and has performed since elementary school. She
has performed as either a featured vocalist or back-up vocalist in
groups such as Yancy Taylor Quartet, EC Scott and Smoke BedRock, and
Soundwave. She has also done numorous TV, film, videos, and voice
over projects. She received her BA in music at Holy Names College
and a member of Theater Bay Area.
Becky Jones
has performed in cabaret venues all over the Bay Area. She has performed
on stage with Broadway By the Bay and Capuchino Community Theater
and has appeared to sold out shows with other Christopher Copeland
Productions. Becky is a music specialist for the San Mateo/Foster
City School District.
Richard Nickol
is a graduate of the San Francisco Operas Merola Program and Western
Opera Theater. He has had major roles in La Boheme, La Traviata, Pagliacci,
Cavalleria Rusticana, and Madama Butterfly to name a few. In Concert
as well as musical theater he has performed nation-wide, in roles
of Jean Valjean and Brujon in Les Miserables and Old Dueteronomy in
Cats. He is also the Artistic/Musical Director of the San Francisco
Academy For The Performing Arts.Many of tonights performers have benefitted
from his Academy.
This wonderful
group of performers will be backed by The Jeffrey Chin Trio. Marc
Lee on Drums and David Ewell on Bass with Jeffrey Chin on Piano and
Richard Stewart on Lighting and Sound.
