Jackie Fornatale in Solo Cabaret Debut

Jackie Fornatale makes her solo cabaret debut at MAMA ROSE'S (219 Second Avenue, NYC - 212-533-0558 - http://www.mamaroses.net/ ) in her show SECOND CHANCE, on Sunday, September 19th at 4:00 pm, Thursday, September 23rd at 9:30 pm, Monday, September 27th at 7:00 pm and Thursday, September 30th at 9:30 pm. The show is directed by Lennie Watts, with musical direction by Gerry Dieffenbach. There is a $15 cover, 2-drink minimum ($10 cover for members of CABARET HOTLINE ONLINE & MAC).

SECOND CHANCE takes a look at the paths our lives have taken and how different those can be from the dreams of our youth. It also explores how life often grants us a second chance - to start a new career ... to risk loving again ... or to be offered the opportunity to do something you've always dreamed of doing! Jackie will be performing songs by many different artists from theatre, pop and country music. She will also be performing some original music written by friends Gerry Dieffenbach, Glen Cortese, and John Pizarelli & Jessica Molaskey.

Jackie studied theatre and music and has a B.A. in Theatre Arts. After a 20+ year hiatus, she is performing again and has enjoyed singing back up vocals for John De Marco and Susan Neoffer. Jackie has studied with Lennie Watts and Steven Ray Watkins in their CabLab Workshops, and is currently studying voice with Gerry Dieffenbach.

Ms. Fornatale has appeared with Brandon Cutrell in John De Marco's "Pure and Simple" at Danny's Skylight Room in September 2003, and with Susan Peirez in John's "All About Love" - which enjoyed a sold out run in January/February 2003 at Judy's Chelsea. Both of John De Marco's shows were under the musical direction of Daryl Kojak Jackie most recently appeared with Susan Neuffer in "Instant Karma" at Mama Rose's in July * August 2004 under the musical direction of Gerry Dieffenbach ("Instant Karma" will be returning to Mama Rose's in October). She also had the honor of being one of the MAC "trophy gals" at the 2003 MAC Awards.
