Henry & Stein in "Remotely Controlled!" at ROSE'S TURN

Wayne Henry and Suzanne Stein are back by popular demand with "Remotely Controlled" - an inspired sketch comedy show that pays a fitting tribute to all things television. The show will play on Tuesdays, April 27th & May 11th, and Saturdays, May 1st & 8th at UPSTAIRS AT ROSE'S TURN (55 Grove Street, NYC - 1-212-366-5438 - http://www.rosesturn.com/ ). Originally developed at Chicago City Limits, followed by sell-out performances at Rose's Turn, the pair do the unthinkable to your favorite TV classics up through the latest "reality-based" drama. Joining them on piano is Eric Barnhill, active in New York as improviser, composer, and recitalist. Nightlife Award winner Collette Black ("What in the World") directs. Tickets are $7 plus a 2-drink minimum. $5 Cover for members of CABARET HOTLINE ONLINE.

"Remotely Controlled" marks Suzanne and Wayne's debut as a comedy duo! The show also features television-based improv and a choreographed opening number. Whether unearthing "lost episodes" of "The Honeymooners" and "Laverne & Shirley" or fabricating brand-new shows, Suzanne and Wayne consistently keep their audience on the laugh track.

Ms. Stein and Mr. Henry have been writing and performing together since 1999 when Suzanne founded the Chicken Skratch comedy troupe. Chicken Skratch performed regularly in and around New York City, including gigs at New York Comedy Club, NYU, Rose's Turn, and as headliners at The Kingston Comedy Festival. Outside of the troupe, Wayne Henry was a regular on NBC's "The Colin Quinn Show" and wrote "Jaws: the Musical" which won the 2003 Strawberry One-Act Festival. Suzanne Stein has appeared on "Saturday Night Live" and recently wrote an original screenplay.
