Stevie Holland Appearing at the Royal Room in April

Stevie Holland, Winner of the 2004 Bistro Award for Outstanding Vocalist, will be headlining at the THE ROYAL ROOM at The Colony Hotel (155 Hammond Avenue, Palm Beach, FL - 561-655-5430 x 26 - http://www.thecolonypalmbeach.com/) from April 6th through10th. Opening night will be hosted by screen legend Arlene Dahl and husband Mark Rosen. Stevie will be singing a variety of jazz and theater standards including material from her recent CD Almost Like Being In Love (produced and arranged by award winning composer Gary William Friedman). Ms. Holland's vocal performances have spanned the worlds of pop, theater, cabaret and jazz. She is an award winning singer who has given critically acclaimed performances in concert halls and rooms around the country. The youngest of seven children, she grew up in a colorful Norwegian-Italian household in Westchester County, New York. She moved to New York City to study music and drama at NYU. Soon thereafter, she was performing in the cabaret circuit and starting to write lyrics.

In her recent performances, Stevie has embraced the American standard songbook and the results have led to a new CD "Almost Like Being In Love". Heard on radio stations from coast to coast, "Almost Like Being in Love" is firmly establishing Stevie Holland as one of today's well respected pop and jazz vocalists.
