The Kabarett Kollektif is an artist's collective composed of European cabaret performers currently based in New York City. Dedicated to preserving the cabaret arts of 20th century Europe and to furthering the art form as a whole, these artists (representing six countries) perform authentic interpretations of the European songbook in their original languages and in English. They have previously been featured in sold-out concerts at such venues as the German Consulate, the Neue Galerie, the Alliance Francaise, Quebec House and Joe's Pub in New York; the German Embassy in Washington; and at concert halls, clubs and cabarets around the U.S. and abroad.

About the Kabarett Kollektif: Ms. Kohler, a leading interpreter of Weimar cabaret, founded the Kabarett Kollektif in January 2003 to bring European cabaret to a wider audience in New York City, and to unite the range, color and culture represented by these singers and actors. Paris gave birth to the art form. Berlin is where cabaret reached its 20th century zenith. Today cabaret thrives in these cities and places like London, San Francisco, and Sydney.
