KOOKY TUNES is the Newest, Wildest, Silliest, Off Broadway revue from New York writer Keith Thompson. This will be the first production outside of New York City. David Hawkins is directing and has assembled the most amazing cast all are incredible solo music theatre/cabaret artists in their own right. Sharon Millerchip (Belle in Beauty & the Beast, Velma in Chicago), Andrew Benson (Aunty Mavis), Eddie Perfect (Melbourne Cabaret/Comedy sensation) and Kaye Tuckerman (Boy From Oz, Les Miserable, Buddy) with one of Sydney's leading musical directors Greg Crease on the piano.

Kooky Tunes life started in 1998 at Eighty Eights in the Village and ran several seasons to huge acclaim transferring to the Laurie Beecham Theatre Off-Broadway for a sell out run, but the Kooky impact was still yet to hit its major audience! After September 11th affected everyone in New York profoundly, once the dust settled Keith Thompson started getting many requests to revive the show people saying "Its time to laugh again." The show opened in the main room at Don't Tell Mamma's and played for several sell-out seasons and was picked up by Jay Records for a cast recording in 2002. And now it's Sydney's turn to laugh our cares away with a Kooky Kabarett bent! The show takes its audience on a fun light hearted kooky journey through a series of characters and songs, with a true wacky and kooky Manhattan flair.
