How Now Rick Lau at Kabarett Voltaire

Straight from a successful "out-of-town try-out" season at the Sydney Opera House, NIDA-trained, Hong Kong born actor Rick Lau brings his show "How Now Rick Lau" to KABARETT VOLTAIRE at The Seymour Theatre Centre (City Road and Cleveland Street, Chippendale, NSW, AU - 9351 7940 - http://www.showtune.com.au/ ) on Friday & Saturday, October 22nd & 23rd at 8:15 pm. He will be accompanied by Lindsay Partridge. The show is written by Rick Lau and Tony Taylor with dramaturgy by Melita Rowston and is directed by Gemma Tamock. Tickets are $25.

Having recently performed in Hair the musical, Rick Lau has produced, written and performed in his 2 sell-out one-man cabaret shows: "SunRice" and "I know where I'm going... I think." Rick's other theatre credits include the lead roles in Empress of China, Eureka, Naked Boys Singing!, Elegies for Angels Punks and Raging Queens, the River Skaters, Looney Tunes, Pacific Overtures and Four x Twenty, a Theatre 4A production of which he is the Creative Director in association with the Asian-Australian Artists Association.

"How Now Rick Lau" premiered at the Studio in September, as part of the Sydney Opera House's ORIENTation festival, in which Rick was also an emcee.
