FEINSTEIN'S at the Regency Hotel (540 Park Avenue, NYC - 1-212-339-4095 - http://www.feinsteinsattheregency.com/ ) will present the return engagement of the Tony Award winning actress and singer Patti Lupone with an all new show "The Lady with the Torch, Part II." Conceived and directed by Scott Wittman, the program features musical direction by Chris Fenwick. A follow-up to her sold-out Feinstein's debut this past spring, the show will feature such torch classics as "So In Love," "Body and Soul" and "My Buddy." Performances are November 8th through 20th. The show will play the following schedule: Tuesday through Saturday at 8:30 pm with late shows on Friday and Saturday at 11:00 pm. All shows have a $60 cover. There is a $40 minimum for early shows and a $30 minimum for late shows.

Patti Lupone moves effortlessly between the concert stage and acting roles in film and television. She recently concluded successful runs with the New York Philharmonic with Kristen Chenoweth in their concert production of Leonard Bernstein's Candide; the Encores! production of Cole Porter's Can-Can; and, for the fourth consecutive year, Chicago's Ravinia Festival's celebrating of the musicals of Stephen Sondheim, this time in Sunday in the Park With George opposite Audra McDonald and Michael Cerveris.

Last winter she was featured in HBO's "Oz," a role she filmed while starring in the hit Broadway revival, Noises Off. She also returned to Carnegie Hall with her one-woman concert "Coulda, Woulda, Shoulda." She performed a second concert, "Matters of the Heart" throughout the U.S., including an extended run at New York's Lincoln Center. Ms. LuPone's recent New York stage appearances include her debut with the New York Philharmonic in Sweeney Todd, David Mamet's The Old Neighborhood, Terrence McNally's Tony Award winning Master Class, and her own concert Patti LuPone On Broadway, for which she received an Outer Critic's Circle Award. Her recent film credits include Code of Honor, the TNT film Monday Night Mayhem, David Mamet's Heist, and the PBS "Great Performances" broadcast of Sweeney Todd. In February 2005 she will sing the title role in Marc Blitzstein's musical Regina, an adaptation of Lillian Hellman's The Little Foxes, at Washington DC's Kennedy Center.

Patti Lupone trained with the first class of the Drama Division in New York's Juilliard School, and became a founding member of John Houseman's The Acting Company, thus beginning her career. Her New York credits include: Accidental Death of An Anarchist, The Water Engine, Edmond, The Woods, and Stage Directions. Ms. LuPone's musical stage performances include: City Center Encores! production of Pal Joey, Anything Goes (1988 Drama Desk Award, Tony Award nomination), The Cradle Will Rock, Oliver!, Evita (1980 Tony and Drama Desk Awards), Working and The Robber Bridegroom (1976 Tony and Drama Desk Award nominations). In London, her credits include: "Fantine" in RSC's production of Les Miserables, a role for which she received an Olivier Award and subsequently played on the West End. She received another Olivier Award for the reprise production of The Cradle Will Rock.

Ms. LuPone created the role of "Norma Desmond" in Sunset Boulevard (1994 Olivier nomination), and recreated her Broadway performance in the West End's Master Class. Her film credits include: State and Main, Summer of Sam, The 24 Hour Woman and Driving Miss Daisy to name a few. Her television credits include: "Touched By An Angel," PBS "Evening At Pops" with John Williams and Yo Yo Ma, "Frasier" (1998 Emmy nomination), "Law & Order," ACE Award and Emmy nominated "The Song Spinner" and ABC's "Life Goes On."
