"Tales of Revenge and Regret," selected as "Chicago's #1 Cabaret Show of the Year", brings the Second City veteran's original comedy and powerhouse vocals to NYC's The Hideaway Room at HELEN'S. Colleen has been a featured vocalist at the Supper Club's King Kong Room, as well as at several Mabel Mercer Foundation Cabaret Conventions in New York (Town Hall), Philadelphia (Prince Theatre), Chicago (Palmer House Empire Room, Park West), and East Hampton (Guild Hall).Ý She has shared the concert stage with, among others, Julie Wilson, Andrea Marcovicci, Christine Ebersole, Ann Hampton Callaway, Karen Akers, Stephen Schwartz and Karen Mason.

Colleen McHugh is the veteran of numerous cabaret shows.Ý In addition to "Tales of Revenge and Regret," Ms. McHugh has written and performed "Songs of Self-Delusion," "Feeling Randy: Colleen McHugh Sings Randy Newman," "There's NoÎl in Chanukah," and "Bastille Magnolias."Ý McHugh was selected as a Fellow of the 2000 Cabaret Symposium at the Eugene O'Neill Theater Center, where she began working with cabaret greats Julie Wilson, Sally Mayes, Margaret Whiting, and songwriters Carol Hall, Shelly Markham, and Tex Arnold.
