Menzie & Tom Michael debut their new show entitled "I Hear Music"
at DAVENPORT'S (1383 North Milwaukee Avenue, Chicago, IL - 773-278-1830

). Show times are Fridays, April 2nd, 9th, 16th, 23rd & 30th at 8:00
pm. The show is directed by After Dark Award winner Rob Lindley. There
is a $15 cover charge and 2-drink minimum.
The show
celebrates the works of contemporary and classic American songwriters,
and will include songs by Gershwin, Jimmy Webb, Harold Arlen, Stephen
Schwartz, Henry Mancini, Johnny Mercer, Fats Waller, Frank Loesser
and more.
Performing
across the country, Beckie Menzie has appeared in some of the nationís
top spots including New York Cityís Town Hall and Don't Tell Mama's,
Chicagoís Pump Room, The Bushnell Theatre in Hartford, Houstonís Ovations
and The Breakers and Four Seasonís in Palm Beach. Two-time winner
of Chicagoís AFTER DARK ìOutstanding Cabaret Artistî award and the
2002 Hall of Fame Award, Beckie performs regularly in Chicago at Gentry
on State and The Big House and has appeared at Toulouse Cognac Bar,
Pops For Champagne, Davenports and The Royal George Theatre.
Tom Michael
has been performing across the country to critical acclaim. Appearing
on stages such as New York City's Town Hall, Don't Tell Mama and Triad;
Chicago's Park West, Empire Room, Davenport's, Pops for Champagne,
Toulouse, and The Royal George; Houston's Ovations; and The Colony
Hotel in Palm Beach, Tom has delighted audiences with his warm, expressive
style. He has also performed with the Boston Pops and the Spokane
Symphony.
