Julie Reyburn Performs One Night Only at Helen's

Multi-Award Winning Cabaret Artist Julie Reyburn teams up with her long time music director and collaborator, Bistro Award Winner Mark Janas to perform favorites from their repertoire and showcase new arrangements for one night only on Friday April 30th at 11:00 pm at HELEN'S RESTAURANT, CABARET & PIANO LOUNGE (169 Eighth Avenue, NYC - 212-206-0609). Julie will be joined by her special guest, 2004 MAC Award Nominee for Outstanding Male Vocalist, David Gurland. Songwriters/Composers range from Bernstein, Mercer and Hammerstein to James Taylor, Harry Chapin, and Sondheim. There is a $15 cover charge ($7 cover for all MAC Members, CABARET HOTLINE MEMBERS, and AEA/Students) and a $15 fooddrink minimum.

Julie is a 2-time MAC Award Winner and a Back Stage Bistro winner, and was the first recipient of the Annual Nightlife Award for Outstanding Female Vocalist. She has been named Top Female Vocalist by Theatremania.com two years in a row and "Best of Cabaret - Top Show" by CABARET HOTLINE ONLINE. She has performed in numerous Cabaret Conventions sponsored by the Mabel Mercer Foundation here in New York as well as in Chicago, Philadelphia and The Hamptons. At Town Hall she was a guest star in the "Broadway Musicals of 1940" and also appeared in the "World Cabaret Series" both sponsored by Barbara & Scott Siegel.

Recent project include: "theAtrainPlays" at the Neighborhood Playhouse, "Pablo - A New Musical" at the York Theatre and Julie just returned from Odette's Cabaret in New Hope where she debuted a new duo show with David Gurland and Tracy Stark. Recordings include: Julie's debut CD, FATE IS KIND - (Original Cast Recordings) and BROADWAY MUSICALS OF 1940 (Bayview Records).
