CAROL SHEDLIN IS "SWINGIN' ON THE MOON"

Celebrating more than a decade of "impeccable musical taste" Carol Shedlin brings her latest cabaret show, "Swingin' on the Moon," to DANNY'S SKYLIGHT ROOM (346 West 46th Street, NYC - 1-212-265-8133 - http://www.dannysgrandseapalace.com/ ) for a month of Mondays in June. Show dates and times are Mondays, June 7th & 21st at 9:15 pm and June 14th & 28th at 7:00 pm. The show features Tedd Firth as Musical Director with Saadi Zain on bass. The show is directed by Aaron Morishita. There is a $12 cover/$10 food/drink minimum. Half-Price Cover for MAC, NYSMS, SE.

In an evening of mostly standards and a few rarities (including selections by Rodgers & Hart, Cole Porter, Michel Legrand, Noel Coward and more), Ms. Shedlin reminisces with songs and stories which helped shape her personal views on star-gazing, insomnia, moonlight romance...and her "life in lingerie."

Ms. Shedlin is not only known for her vocals and unusually varied song choices, she is also famous as a most interesting storyteller, regaling audiences with tales of her youth and her many experiences through the years. She has performed at THE TRIAD, DON'T TELL MAMA, DANNY'S SKYLIGHT ROOM and JUDY'S CHELSEA.
