KT SULLIVAN AT THE MANOR IN NOVEMBER

KT Sullivan will appear at LE DOME at The Manor (111 Prospect Avenue, West Orange, NJ - 973-731-2360 - http://themanorrestaurant.com/ ) on Thursday, November 4th, as part of the Cabaret Soiree series with her show "Beyond The Rainbow: The Music of Harold Arlen." The Cabaret Soiree consists of a 4-course, 4-star dinner and show package, with dinner seatings at 6:00, 6:15, and 6:30 pm. Showtime is 9:00 pm. Cost for dinner and show is $69 plus tax & tip. Wait-list "show only" seats available at $35 per person.

Ms. Sullivan co-wrote and starred in the Off-Broadway show, American Rhapsody (winner of a MAC Award for the best revue of 2001 and nominee for Lucille Lortel and Drama Desk Awards). Her Broadway credits include The Three Penny Opera with Sting, the play Broadway (directed by George Abbott), and the leading role in Gentlemen Prefer Blondes. She co-starred in the workshop of Easter Parade with Tommy Tune, the national tour of Annie Get Your Gun, and appeared Off-Broadway in Splendora and A, My Name is still Alice.

In May of 2003 she created a show called "Vienna to Weimar," performed at the Neue Gallerie on Fifth Avenue, a show reprised in 2004. She has headlined at the White House, Carnegie Hall, Caramoor, The Spoleto Festival, The Chichester Festival in England, at the Adelaide Festival in Australia and performs regularly at Guild Hall in East Hampton and "Larry's Room" at Pizza on the Park in London. Last year at this time, she made her debut in Paris with her favorite co-star, Mark Nadler. Her television credits include Police Squad, Night Court, Remington Steele, and Cabaret 13 with Michael Feinstein.

She has recorded six albums on the DRG label, including "The Sweetest Sounds of Richard Rodgers" with Larry Woodard (MAC Award 2001); "Sing My Heart: The Songs of Harold Arlen;" "Live from Rainbow and Stars: The Songs of Bart Howard" (Bistro Award); and "Crazy World" (voted #1 in the Vocals Category by Pulse Magazine). Liza Minelli presented her with the Manhattan Association of Cabarets' coveted Outstanding Female Vocalist Award. Her CD "Ladies of the Silver Screen," with James Followell, was nominated for the 2003 MAC Award in the major recording category.

KT has played leading roles (including Billie Dawn in Born Yesterday and Frances in Light Up The Sky) at such distinguished theaters as The Old Globe, The Long Wharf, The Missouri Rep, Paper Mill Playhouse, and the Goodspeed Opera House. In 1999, KT was named one of the 100 Most Outstanding Irish Americans by Irish America Magazine, and married outstanding Irish American Steve Downey.
