JUDE TREDER-WOLFF LEADS THURSDAY NITE PSYCHO THERAPY GROUP

A great new variety show comes to cabaret - Jude Treder-Wolff's Thursday Nite PSYCHO Therapy Group, UPSTAIRS AT ROSE'S TURN (55 Grove Street, NYC - 1-212-366-5438 - http://www.rosesturn.com/ ) beginning in November and continuing on an open-ended engagement. Shows are scheduled for Thursdays, November 4th, 11th & 28th and December 2nd, 9th, 16th, 23rd & 30th, all at 7:00 pm. Along with the guest vocalist and comedian there will be a weekly appearance by motivational speaker Sister Jude of the Impossible Situations, a nun, who is a little drunk and very disillusioned. Well, that's not quite true. She's smashed and seething! And smokin'. But that's her opinion. There will be a $15.00 music charge and a 2-drink minimum. $10 cover for members of CABARET HOTLINE ONLINE.

In the tradition of the legendary Angela LaGreca's Monday Nite Madness at Eighty Eight's, Jude Treder-Wolff's Thursday Nite PSYCHO Therapy Group will feature a guest vocalist and a guest comedian each week. That is where the similarity ends, however. TNPTG is a topical, issue-driven, live, weekly, variety show that features music and comedy with a strong point of view about events, trends, BIG questions, problems, moral and ethical dilemmas, stresses, messes and best guesses about what we all go through in this crazy world. Entertainment that is smart, twisted, cheeky, mocking, biting, maybe eye-rolling, sometimes swaggering, unsafe, unsanitary and, of course - politically incorrect - in its shamelessness. Because life - is not a reality show!

Host Jude Treder-Wolff is a Psychotherapist who is also a cabaret artist - and a comedienne. Jude hopes that TNPTG will be a place for audiences to decompress from the problems and tensions of their week through music and comedy that deals with the concerns and stresses many of us care, worry and sometimes scream about, and maybe find some balance or get a fresh perspective.
