CABARET CONFERENCE ANNOUNCES PUBLIC PERFORMANCES
The Cabaret
Conference at Yale takes place from July 30th through August 8th at
Yale University in New Haven, CT, and several performance events are
open to the public. Performances are at THE NEW THEATER (1156 Chapel
Street, New Haven, CT - 203-432-1234 - http://www.thecabaretconferenceatyale.com/
).
Saturday,
July 31st: "Cabaret Classics" with Julie Wislon and Carol Hall
at 7:30 pm. $20.
Sunday,
August 1st: "Diversity - Faculty Concert" with Tex Arnold, Carol
Hall, George Hall, Julie Halston, Rick Jensen, Jeff Klitz, Lina Koutrakos,
Sally Mayes, Amanda McBroom, Erv Raible, Paul Trueblood, and Julie
Wilson with special guest Wendy Lane Bailey at 7:30 pm.
Thursday,
August 5th: "Comedy Tonight!" with Jason Graee and Brett Somers
at 7:30 pm. $20.
Friday,
August 6th: "Songwriters Salute" with Amanda McBroom and Anne
Tofflemire at 7:30 pm. $20.
Saturday,
August 7th: "Conference Curtain Call." The Class Of 2004 will
perform an evening of three, one-hour, twelve-song cabaret acts, featuring
each of the 36 students from across the United States and around the
world. $20.
