STEPHANIE ZAGOREN BLAMES IT ON THE SUMMER NIGHT

Singer/actress Stephanie Zagoren returns to DON'T TELL MAMA (343 West 46th Street, NYC - 1-212-757-0788 - http://www.donttellmama.com/ ) with her new show "Blame It on the Summer Night" on Saturday, June 5th at 4:00 pm, and Tuesdays, June 22nd at 6:30 pm and 29th at 9:00 pm. Although the show has no specific theme it has evolved into a collection of many lush, melodic, romantic love songs.As usual there will be a blend of Standards, Broadway, Jazz and Contemporary Originals. Musical director is Wells Hanley with John Loehrke on bass. The show is directed by Ricky Ritzel. There is a $10 cover, 2-drink minimum ($5 cover for members of CABARET HOTLINE ONLINE).

Among the composers and lyricist included are Steve Lutvak, Francesca Blumenthal, Bernstein/Comden and Green, the Gershwin brothers, Rodgers and Hammerstein, Rodgers and Hart, Kurt Weill and Ogden Nash,Michel LeGrande and the Bergmans, Sergio Mendes, Billy Strayhorn, Charles Strauss and Stephen Schwartz.
