SARA ZAHN RETURNS TO NEW YORK CABARET

Sara Zahn is making her much anticipated return to the New York cabaret scene opening at HELEN'S RESTAURANT, CABARET & PIANO LOUNGE (169 Eighth Avenue, NYC - 212-206-0609 - http://www.helensnyc.com/ ). Her show, "Bouncing Back for More," revisits songs written by some of our most treasured composers and lyricists, including Leonard Bernstein, Cy Coleman, Jule Styne, Sammy Cahn, Alan Jay Lerner, and Carolyn Leigh. Performances are scheduled for Saturdays & Sundays, October 30th, 31st and November 6th, 7th, 13th, 14th, 20th, 21st, 27th & 28th, all shows at 7:00 pm. There is a $15 cover, $15 food/drink minimum.

"Bouncing Back For More" marks the fifth time Zahn is reunited with her multi-award winning Director, Barry KleinboortT, with whom she and their previous collaborations received unanimous critical acclaim. Musical Director is Allen Kashkin, who has over 125 productions in regional theater to his credit.

"Bouncing Back For More" combines such favorites as "This is Life," "The Best is Yet to Come," "Walking Happy," and "Time After Time" with some new, never before heard trunk songs like "When Jeremiah Can be With Me" (Carolyn Leigh/ Lee Pockriss), a beautiful song which can only be heard by seeing Sara sing it live at Helen's or by listening to the premier recording on her CD, "WitchCraft" the songs of Carolyn Leigh. With the combination of her spunky personality, sultry voice, and heartfelt delivery, Zahn's show is a must see performance for anyone interested in hearing the best of an era that still remains unmatched.
