"I LOVE LOUIS: A TRIBUTE TO LOUIS ARMSTRONG AND FRIENDS" IN BOSTON
The Follen Angels premiere a new program of songs covering the career of jazz virtuoso, Louis Armstrong on Tuesday, November 1st at 8:00 p, at SCULLERS JAZZ CLUB (400 Soldiers Field Road, Allston, MA - 617-562-4111 - http://www.scullersjazz.com/ ). For this show, The Follen Angels are going all out with a 7-piece band, including Hildy Grossman (vocalist) , Micaela Grossman (vocalist) , Rieko Tanaka (piano), Ken Dantzig (drums), Jeremy Udden (sax), Rick McLaughlin (bass) and Peter Kenagie (trumpet). The program will cover many aspects of Satchmo's career from the early days with the Hot Five and Hot Seven to his popular hits of his later career to his famous duets with such legends as Ella Fitzgerald, Bing Crosby, and Louis Jordan.

Tickets are $20.
