) on Tuesday, December 20th with a 7:00 pm holiday concert. She will
be joined by cabaret superstar Billy Stritch at the piano and on vocals.
This evening is part of The Winter Season, presented by Jim Caruso
and TheaterMania.com, which features top Broadway performers and composers
at the legendary nightclub.
Ms. Ebersole, the Tony Award-winning star of Broadway's 42nd Street
and the WB's "Related," returns for her fourth engagement, armed with
a dazzling concoction of Broadway tunes, standards, holiday songs
and wry take on life. She won the 2001 Tony for her star-turn in 42nd
Street, then teamed with cast-mate Billy Stritch for a cabaret run
at FEINSTEIN'S at the Regency Hotel (540 Park Avenue, NYC - 1-212-339-4095
-

) and THE CINEGRILL in Los Angeles before making BIRDLAND her musical
home.
The show will also include performances from the duo's new CD "In
Your Dreams," (Ghostlight Label) which is a studio re-creation of
the show they have been performing across the country. Christine will
be debuting songs from Grey Gardens: A New Musical. The piece, by
librettist Doug Wright, composer Scott Frankel and lyricist Michael
Korie, will premiere in the 2005-06 season of Playwrights Horizons.
Christine and Mary Louise Wilson will star in the musical, inspired
by the creepy cult film documentary about relatives of Jacqueline
Bouvier Kennedy living in a squalid Long Island mansion!
There is a $40 cover, $10 food/drink minimum.
