CABARET NEWS - NEW YORK CITY

"B-B-B-BAD!" NIGHT OF CABARET STARS BRUCE ANTONIO CLOUGH
On Monday, November 21st, Bruce Antonio Clough brings his acclaimed cabaret act, B-B-B-BAD!, to DANNY'S SKYLIGHT ROOM (346 West 46th Street, NYC - 1-212-265-8133 - http://www.dannysgrandseapalace.com/ ) for one night only on Monday, November 21st at 9:15 pm. B-B-B-BAD!, which premiered at THE CABARET AT ODETTE'S (South River Road, New Hope, PA - 215-862-3000 - http://www.bobegan.net/Odettes.html ) in September in two sold-out performances, offers a dramatic and captivating evening of song. Drawing on his extensive musical theater and popular repertoire, Mr. Clough, along with musical director Jeff Dershin, conjures up a host of fiendish, diabolic and comedic characters from such renowned composers as Jacques Brel, Stephen Sondheim and Kurt Weill.

Mr. Clough, a long-time protege of the great actress/teacher Uta Hagen, has appeared in numerous dramatic and musical productions in some of America's most prestigious theaters (including The Public Theater in New York, Actors Theatre of Louisville and Dallas Theatre Center). He has performed such diverse characters as Macbeth, Falstaff, Count Dracula, Fagin, Jud Fry and the title role in the Nerd. Reviewers have noted that his strong musicality, emotional depth and physical dexterity fuse in such a way as to create a very unique and dramatic cabaret style.

There is a $15 cover, $12 food/drink minimum.
