ALL-STAR CAST OF BROADWAY ORIGINALS ANNOUNCED!
An amazing array of theater stars has been assembled by producer Scott Siegel with the express purpose of singing the songs that they performed in their original Broadway productions. More than forty years of Broadway history will be on glorious display on THE TOWN HALL (123 West 43rd Street, NYC - http://www.the-townhall-nyc.org/ ) stage on Sunday, October 23rd at 3:00 pm when stars from every decade from the 1960s to the 2000s return to sing the songs that made (and make) the Great White Way great.

Here is the cast of BROADWAY ORIGINALS (plus the show they each starred in and from which they will sing): Karen Akers (Nine), Ann Hampton Callaway (Swing), Liz Callaway (Baby), Chuck Cooper (The Life), Melissa Errico (Amour), Penny Fuller (Applause), Randy Graff (A Class Act), Mary Louise (David Merrick's All Black Hello, Dolly!), Priscilla Lopez (A Chorus Line), Jack Noseworthy (Sweet Smell Of Success), Evan Pappas (My Favorite Year), Austin Pendleton (Fiddler On The Roof), Alice Playten (Henry, Sweet Henry), Jimmy Randolph (David Merrick's All Black Guys & Dolls), Lee Roy Reams (42nd Street), Sarah Rice (Sweeney Todd), Pat Suzuki (Flower Drum Song), Jim Walton (Merrily We Roll Along), Walter Willison (Two By Two), Rachel York (City Of Angels) and more! The musical director will be Bobby Peaco and the show will be directed by Dan Foster.

The Festival begins with a tribute to Kander & Ebb on Friday, October 21st at 8:00 pm and features more than a dozen stars, including Brent Barrett, Rachel York, and Cheyenne Jackson. The musical director will be Jeffrey Saver and Denis Jones will direct. Saturday night, October 22nd, TABOO star Euan Morton and BROOKLYN: THE MUSICAL star Eden Espinosa take the stage to perform their own one-act concerts devoted exclusively to classic Broadway show tunes. The evening is called EUAN MORTON AND EDEN ESPINOSA SING BROADWAY!

Then on Sunday afternoon, October 23rd at 3:00 pm, the history of Broadway is put on full display with Broadway Originals when the actors from the original casts of more than twenty different shows sing the songs that thrilled five decades of theatergoers. There will be more Tony nominees and Tony winners on The Town Hall stage on Sunday than any other place but the actual Tony Awards! And oh the nostalgia! Hear Mary Louise from David Merrick's All Black production of HELLO, DOLLY! sing "Ribbons Down My Back" and Jimmy Randolph from Merrick's All Black production of GUYS & DOLLS sing "Luck be a Lady," as well as hear FIDDLER ON THE ROOF's original Motel the tailor, Austin Pendleton, sing "Miracle of Miracles."

Scott Siegel is the creator, writer, host of The Town Hall's FIRST ANNUAL BROADWAY CABARET FESTIVAL. He has previously created the critically acclaimed Broadway by the Year series at The Town Hall, as well as the stellar annuals The Nightlife Awards and Broadway Unplugged. Limited $40 tickets in the balcony are available for BROADWAY ORIGINALS as well as tickets for the TRIBUTE TO KANDER & EBB and EUAN MORTON AND EDEN ESPINOSA SING BROADWAY.
