BROADWAY WITH "SPRING CHICKEN" SHOW
Clark Warren's acclaimed
"Spring Chicken" show moves uptown to the theater district and THE
ENCORE (266 West 47th Street, NYC - 212-221-3960 - http://www.theencorenyc.com/
) on Tuesdays, October 4th & 11th at 7:00 pm.
Clark's accessible pop-jazz baritone will serve up a multi-course
menu of treats from the likes of Sammy Cahn, Bob Dorough, Vincent
Youmans, and Gerry Mulligan...from Stephen Sondheim to Duke Ellington,
Dave Frishberg and Harry Warren. You'll hear arrangements and solos
that make this mix of both requested and seldom heard tunes qualify
as "new" to the ear.
Clark is joined by his long-time musical director Frank Underswood,
as well as multi-talented Jennifer Vincent on both cello and bass.
There is a $15 cover, $12 food/drink minimum.
