FIRST ANNUAL BROADWAY CABARET FESTIVAL ANNOUNCES CAST!

Three extraordinary cabaret concerts consisting of all Broadway music will take place at THE TOWN HALL (123 West 43rd Street, NYC - http://www.the-townhall-nyc.org/ ) over one unforgettable weekend. On Friday, October 21st at 8:00 pm, you can hear the music of Kander & Ebb in a tribute to their work performed by Nancy Anderson, Bryan Batt, Brent Barrett, Jarrod Cafaro, Belle Calaway, Jim Caruso, Scott Coulter, Cheyenne Jackson, Sharon Mcnight, Rachelle Rak, Billy Stritch, Michael Winther and Rachel York.

On Saturday, October 22nd at 8:00 pm, two new Broadway stars make their THE TOWN HALL solo concert debuts when the Tony-nominated star of Taboo, Euan Morton and the electrifying star of Brooklyn: The Musical, Eden Espinosa each perform one full act of classic Broadway show tunes. Broadway's generation gap will be closed and history will be made when the pop/rock stars of the contemporary stage bring our musical theater past into the present.

On Sunday, October 23rd at 3:00 pm, history will take the stage in the form of Broadway Originals! Performers from the 1960s through the 2000s will sing the songs with which they are indelibly linked. Among the more than twenty great stars that will perform are Karen Akers (Nine), Liz Callaway (Baby), Chuck Cooper (The Life), Penny Fuller (Applause), Priscilla Lopez (A Chorus Line), Austin Pendleton (Fiddler on the Roof), Alice Playten (Henry, Sweet Henry), Lee Roy Reems (42nd Street), Rachel York (City of Angels), and many more.

The Broadway Cabaret Festival is created by Author/Critic Scott Siegel, who created three other critically acclaimed series, all at THE TOWN HALL: Broadway by the Year, The Nightlife Awards, and Broadway Unplugged. Siegel will also write and host the Kander & Ebb Tribute and Broadway Originals! And he will be on hand to introduce Euan Morton and Eden Espinosa. Ticket availability is limited, particularly for Broadway Originals! The top ticket price is just $45.
