Boston's First lady of Cabaret, Carol O'Shaughnessy and veteran music
director and arranger, Tom LaMark Present "A Master's Class in the Art
of Cabaret Performance ... It's Not Just About Singing" on Sunday, April
15th from 1:00 until 4:00 pm at ENCORE LOUNGE at THE COURTYARD MARRIOTT
HOTEL (275 Tremont Street, Boston, MA - CLASS INFO: 781-259-0111). The
Master Class will include tips on: How to connect with an audience the
minute you make your entrance; Maximize your potential as a performer;
Select the best material for you; Take command of the stage.
Carol O'Shaughnessy is an award-winning Cabaret Entertainer
with over thirty-five years of professional Cabaret and Theatre experience.
She has performed with Judy Kaye, Joan Rivers, David Brenner and Pat
Cooper and is a member of AEA and BACA.
Tom LaMark, veteran music director and arranger, holds
a degree from The Berklee College of Music. He has played with jazz
greats, Dizzy Gillespie, Johnny Hartman and Buddy Rich. Tom has accompanied
some of the biggest stars of show business including Aretha Franklin,
The Smothers Brothers, Robert Merrill and many more.
Cost is $115.00 per person.
