BARBARA FASANO AND ERIC COMSTOCK AT SAVOR APRIL 26TH
Barabara Fasano and Eric Comstock open Thursday, April 26th at CABARET
AT SAVOR (4356 Lindell, St. Louis, MO - 314-531-0220 - http://www.Savor-stl.com/
) in their new show "A Little Romance," with performances through Sunday,
April 29th. Fasano and Comstock will perform the songs of Harold Arlen,
Yip Harburg, Julie Styne, Cole Porter, Lorenz Hart and other masters
of the Songbook.
Comstock and Fasano are much sought-after mainstays
of the Manhattan cabaret scene, both independently and together. (They
were married in 2005.) They have performed at Danny's, the Duplex,
Town Hall, Carnegie Hall, and the Allen Room at Jazz at Lincoln Center.
Most recently, Fasano and Comstock appeared at the new Metropolitan
Room in New York. They were last seen in St. Louis at the Sheldon
in 2005.
An exceptionally lovely and sophisticated singer, Fasano
mixes standards of the American Popular Song with more contemporary
material. Her new album, "Written In The Stars," a tribute to Harold
Arlen, has been awarded the 2007 Back Stage Bistro Award for Outstanding
Recording.
