NEW CABARET CONCERT SERIES IN MILWAUKEE STARTS JUNE 5th
Broadway, Hollywood and the Great American Songbook will be celebrated every Tuesday evening all summer long in Milwaukee! Singer/producer Jeanne Scherkenbach presents some of the best cabaret artists in the Midwest, offering a different theme each week (no show on July 3rd). The series opens on Tuesday, June 5th, from 6:30 to 8:30 pm, in the courtyard of the CAFE LA SCALA IN THE ITALIAN COMMUNITY CENTER (630 East Chicago Street, Milwaukee, WI - 414-223-2180 - http://www.italianconference.com/ ). The June 5th lineup features CCP (Chicago Cabaret Professionals - http://www.chicagocabaret.org/ ) members Jeanne Scherkenbach, Joan Curto, Joel Kopischke and singer/pianist Carolyn Wehner, with additional piano accompaniment by Skylight Opera's Jamie Johns.

On Tuesday June 12th, Ms. Scherkenbach and Ms. Wehner are joined by fellow CCP members Anne & Mark Burnell and Jimmy Odom; Tuesday June 19th features members of Milwaukee's Florentine Opera along with Ms. Scherkenbach and Ms. Wehner. And on Tuesday June 26, Jimmy Odom returns to sing with Ms. Scherkenbach and Milwaukee nightclub/piano bar icon Bette Rogers.

No cover and no minimum (food and drink available for purchase) but reservations are highly recommended. (The show will move indoors in case of inclement weather.)
